What we do
Everyone knows just how important capability matrixes are, they serve as a comprehensive assessment of you and your teammates capability to perform the work and meet the requirements of a Request for Proposal (RFP) or other solicitation. The trouble is, they can be time consuming; copy and pasting from PDF to Excel or editing exported content in Excel or just plain rewriting requirements. No wonder so many companies, capture managers, and proposal managers dread the process of creating capabilities matrixes.
The good news is, we have a way to save you time, frustration, and risk. We build our capability matrixes using magic, well advanced natural language processing (NLP) algorithms, but it’s easier to say magic. The same process we use to shred RFPs for our products and services is used to efficiently create your capability matrix. We use this magic to shred the PWS, SOW, Instructions (section L), and Evaluation Criteria (section M) to generate a comprehensive matrix. Then we export the matrix content into our capability matrix document.
Kinetic’s capability matrix is built to provide you understanding of each company’s individual performance citation as well as any management or technical requirements in the instructions (such as must have $1M line of credit) or evaluation criteria (such as performance must be within last 5 years) that need to be considered in both your pursuit and your potential teammates. Additionally, our capability matrix product includes a scoring model for both combined team scores and each individual performance citation. This format also provides a quick gap analysis so you can make critical pursuit and teaming decisions.
Using our Capability Matrix saves you time, resources, and ultimately money. Our process gets you to the answers you need in record time.
